Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, my love for fashion started early—thanks to my older sister, who often dressed me in fun, stylish outfits. One I’ll never forget? A green plaid vest with a matching skirt—fully lined, of course!

In 1993, I moved to Ontario and spent the next 29 years working in sales, traveling from town to town. During those years, I developed a passion for exploring local shops and boutiques wherever I went. One memorable stop was a charming boutique in Barrie, Ontario. I walked in and told the owner, “I don’t do grey.” With a smile, she said, “There’s a grey for everyone.” And she was right. That cardigan became a staple in my wardrobe—and so did her styling advice.

That experience stayed with me and helped inspire the creation of my own boutique linen line.
